Representative Ron Reynolds has been a key figure in Texas politics since his inauguration as State Representative for House District 27 on January 10, 2011. As the first African American State Representative in Fort Bend County since Reconstruction, he's now in his seventh term. Reynolds has earned notable accolades including the “2021 87th Session Legislator of the Year” and was voted “Freshman Legislator of the Year” by his peers.
