Fortson, 23, was shot multiple times and killed May 3 by an anonymous Okaloosa Region sheriff's agent. Legal counselors for Fortson's family, including social equality lawyer Benjamin Crump, had contended that the delegate who shot Fortson was shipped off some unacceptable loft. In any case, at Thursday's question and answer session, Okaloosa District Sheriff Eric Aden called those cases bogus. The Okaloosa Sheriff's Specialty said a delegate showed up at Fortson's apartment building after an unsettling influence call. In the body camera film, an occupant strolling with the delegate says she heard clearly clamors and contentions coming from Fortson's condo, and it appeared as though they were "gaining out of influence."
