Yu Darvish resigned the initial 14 players he confronted and permitted only two hits in seven shutout innings as the San Diego Padres crushed the meeting Los Angeles Dodgers 4-0 in the elastic match of a three-game series on Sunday. "Just after the game, when I conversed with Lee, our third base mentor, he said, 'Man, Yu resembled a specialist today,' and (I) felt that plainly portrays his exhibition," said Padres-chief Mike Shildt.
