Creating openness– Daughters must not be restricted to household work as they can do much more. Parents who raise their daughters equal to their sons instil a progressive mindset towards society and help them grow mentally, emotionally, and socially without any restrictions. Being communicative Parents who encourage their daughters to speak up against any wrongs and give importance to their opinions and expressions raise headstrong and independent daughters. If parents rebuke their daughters at every step and mock their views instead of being supportive, possibilities are that the child grows into a coward and isolated being. Isolated individuals– If the parents are not around their daughters during their growth, they develop a sense of abandonment and do not feel much connection or attachment with their family. Since daughters do not witness any care, nourishment or emotional connection, they become somewhat self-centred as they have looked out for themselves for years. Therefore, parental involvement is necessary while raising a girl-child.
